New Pipe Plug

BLÜCHER has launched a new access plug for the BLÜCHER EuroPipe® drainage pipework system:
Type no. 844.100.050 S - Plug for OD 50 mm pipe
Type no. 844.100.075 S - Plug for OD 75 mm pipe
Type no. 844.100.110 S - Plug for OD 110 mm pipe
The new plugs replace socket plug clamps type 845.000.xxx S for the same pipe dimensions. Socket plug clamp type 845.000.160 S remains unchanged.

The new plugs are to be fixed in the socket end of a pipe and offer advantages as follows:
- The plugs being secured in the socket end ensures that the plugs remain in place up to a pressure of 0.5 bar (OD 50 and 75 mm) and 0.3 bar (OD 110 mm) - in cases of higher pressure, the plugs can be secured by a pipe joint clamp type 847.xxx.xxx.
- The plugs are easily removed for cleaning of the pipe installation
The plug is to be placed in the pipe socket and fixed in the socket groove by tightening a nut to press the special EPDM rubber sealing of the plug against the socket walls.
BLÜCHER EuroPipe® is the versatile and reliable stainless steel drainage pipework system, available in OD 50, 75, 110, 125, 160 and 200 mm in lengths 0.15 - 6 metres.
