BLÜCHER drainage in Heineken Jumbo brewery in Spain

BLÜCHER® drainage system will be installed in the currently biggest new brewery construction job in Europe - Heineken Spain’s new brewery facilities in Sevilla.
The new brewery plant will replace the entire brewing facilities of Cruzcampo in Sevilla, and will brew all the brands of Heineken Spain with the production of Cruzcampo as major priority. The plant will have an initial capacity of 4.5 million hl. Bottling is scheduled to begin at the end of 2006 with full production capacity being reached in 2008.
Heineken chose BLÜCHER as supplier of the stainless steel drainage system for their new brewery facilities. Previously, BLÜCHER has supplied products to Heineken breweries in e.g. Bangkok, Holland and Nigeria.
The drainage system comprises BLÜCHER Industrial® heavy-duty floor drains, BLÜCHER Channel® drainage channels, gratings for drains and channels and BLÜCHER EuroPipe® drainage pipes and fittings. The drainage system is a combination of products from BLÜCHER’s standard range and customized articles made specifically to match Heineken’s requirements.

The good collaboration on the Sevilla project has already led to new BLÜCHER supplies to other Heineken breweries, for instance in Russia.
