BLÜCHER® Industrial is a range of drains suitable for all applications and floor types together with an extensive choice of load bearing gratings. In addition to the wide range of features such as height adjustability and the self cleaning water trap, all BLÜCHER® Industrial drains come with edge infill as standard.
The Edge infill provides two key benefits, hygiene and added strength.
The BLÜCHER® edge infill ensures that where hygiene is important there is no void which could harbour contamination. This makes them ideal for the food and drink sector.

In common installations where ordinary drain bodies are bedded into the flooring the underside edges of the drains may not be fully supported. This can leave a void which, if compressed by heavy loads could result in damage to the edge of the drain, which in turn may compromise the integrity of the flooring.
The edge infill on the BLÜCHER® Industrial range of Stainless Steel drains ensures that the void left when forming the edge of a drain is filled and strong enough to cope with the expected loading.
