Copenhagen Airport has been rated the best airport in Europe several times and was recently rated the best airport in the world.
The airport was opened in 1925 expanding over the years from appr. 12,000 passengers per year in the early 1930s to appr. 17.5 million passengers per year today. Copenhagen Airport now covers an area of appr. 11.3 km², and during the next decade investments of more than USD 1 billion are planned. |
