Arla Foods amba is the result of the merger of the dairy cooperatives MD Foods (Denmark) and Arla (Sweden) in the spring of 2000. Arla Foods is owned by appr. 17.000 Danish and Swedish milk producers who supply milk to the dairy group. Arla Foods is Europe's largest dairy group each year receiving appr. 7 bio. kg milk and obtaining a turnover of appr. DKK 36 bio. |
