Description of BLÜCHER MULTI water trap:
The BLÜCHER MULTI water trap can be installed in all drains designed for the traditional BLÜCHER removable water trap. The MULTI water trap has been designed with a special sealing ring which closes the water trap when not in use. Thus, bad odours are prevented from penetrating from the sewer into the room. In addition to functioning as a water trap and an odour stop, the BLÜCHER MULTI water trap has a third function, as the special sealing ring used in the MULTI water trap closes the water trap in case of rising water from the sewer, preventing water rising through the grating onto the floor (not approved for use as backflow valve).
